Once considered the premium travel card, the Platinum Card from American Express is now a flashy-looking lifestyle card that’s bursting with amped-up perks and worth its 18.5-gram weight.

And Jamaicans can now enjoy its enhanced benefits thanks to a partnership that allows Scotiabank Jamaica to issue the platinum card to qualifying customers. The card was officially launched on Sunday, July 30 as Scotia Group Jamaica Limited President & CEO Audrey Tugwell Henry hosted a celebratory event worthy of the platinum card’s status at the Caymanas Polo Club.

Cardmembers, bankers, and business leaders were among the select few who got a chance to experience a world of gastronomic delights made possible by Scotiabank and American Express.
