Shelly Curran inks management deal with Nah Change Entertainment
Only weeks after her first single went viral online, social media blogger Shelly ‘Teatime’ Curran has now inked a recording and management deal with independent music label Nah Change Entertainment.
Curran is expecting major developments within the next couple of weeks now that she finally has a management team to pilot her success.
“I recognize that my brand as a multi-talented creative has generated major opportunities for me already internationally, but the journey needs a team to get there,” Curran said.
“I believe that Nah Change Entertainment will provide that firm support system, a home that handles all business matters which allows me to stay in my creative space.”
Nah Change Entertainment is an ‘upmarket’ creative boutique agency that provides customised services and focus on the client’s industry and niche. The label has recorded singles with Summa, Valiant and other artistes this year.
“Nah Change Entertainment has already shown me they are not a bag of ‘mout service’. I’m already in studio finishing projects with the support of a team and will be working on my first single with the label. It’s important to note however my career as a talk show host is also being managed by Nah Change suh work already started,” she shared.
Curran has exploded on the music and entertainment scene with her hard-hitting and entertaining ‘Teatime with Shelly’ talk show where she employs a no-holds-barred interviewing style that has proven to be highly engaging among young social media users. She has racked up almost 18,000 subscribers in only a few months.
Last month, she dropped her first single ‘Basic’ featuring singjay Kayla which generated a lot of debate because they are both ex-girlfriends of Vybz Kartel and his son, Likkle Addi respectively. Now, she is ready to turn things up a notch with a barrage of new songs in 2023.
“A lot of producers have been sending rhythms, my management and I will be sifting through the offers and we’ll be dropping videos and singles throughout the rest of 2023. It’s a my time, it’s Teatime,” a confident Curran said.
Indie label Nah Change Entertainment sees incredible possibilities for Curran in the worlds of social media, music and even drama.
“Shelly has the talent and the world already knows and supports her. She has a wide fan base and is a real boss lady who is known in the corporate and entertainment worlds so it’s a real no-brainer to sign her. She can act, host shows, incredible personality…she is very versatile so we had to work with her, especially after we realised that she can singjay and record songs as well,” artiste manager/label head Daniel Foster said.
The label will be dropping a new single in August.
