Annual health mission brings vital services to Clarendon communities
Hundreds of people attended the recently concluded health mission at Evelyn Mitchell Infant School in Brandon Hill, Clarendon, organised by the LJDR Davis Foundation, which is based in New York. The mission, which ran from July 17 to 20, involved 100 visiting and local volunteers providing various essential services including dental care, obstetric and gynaecological tests, echocardiograms, and ultrasounds. Since 2012 the LJDR Davis Foundation has been staging an annual health fair in Brandon Hill which has garnered immense support from volunteer medics and nurses. The Cari-Med Foundation is a sponsor of the missions, providing the venue, and assisting with transportation and logistics.
