With dozens of creative minds involved in the choreography, planning, and execution of the show, artistic talent was on full display at the 2023 staging of Plié For The Arts Amalgamation. Gala night took place on Wednesday, July 12, at the Little Theatre with its usual pomp and pageantry as scores — many of them #PliéFaithfuls — turned out to witness Amalgamation fave Zoey Anderson, international acts like Boston Ballet second soloist Michaela Mabinty DePrince and first black principal dancer in the history of the Pacific Northwest Ballet Jonathan Batista, industry-leading dance company L’Acadco, and a local collective of dancers that always closes the show in style.
