Duanvale and Coopers Pen seek TFA Cross-zone win
BOUNTY HALL, Trelawny — Duanvale FC and Coopers Pen FC will be seeking wins on Sunday when the Trelawny Football Association Major League Cross-zone round continues. Both matches are set to kick off at 3:30 pm.
Both teams finished second in their respective zones and will hope to start the second round with wins to stay in the race for the semi-finals.
Duanvale, who were second in Zone A, will take on Jackson Town – who were last in Zone B – at Duanvale Community Centre while Coopers Pen will take on Harmony FC who were third in Zone A.
The Cross-Zone round kicked off on Saturday with three games after the first round ended on June 17th.
Salt Marsh United led Zone A with 17 points, one more than Duanvale-16 points with Harmony FC and Spicy Hill both on eight points and Kinloss FC on five.
Duncans United topped Zone B with 16 points, one better than Coopers Pen; Prospect Links FC were third with 10 points followed by Holland United with eight and Jackson Town FC with four points.
