UPDATE: Four persons of interest in stabbing of Cumberland High student in custody
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica-The police are reporting that the four persons of interest listed in relation to Thursday’s stabbing of a student from the Cumberland High School in St Catherine, have turned themselves in.
The police said detectives assigned to the St Catherine South division intend to interview all four in the presence of their legal representatives.
The injured child remains in the hospital in serious condition.

Earlier OBSERVER ONLINE report indicated that the men are from Newlands, Portmore in the parish.
The St Catherine South police are seeking four men from Newlands, Portmore who they say can assist in investigations surrounding the physical assault of a student of Cumberland High School in the municipality on Thursday.
The 16-year-old Cumberland student was stabbed during the attack which occurred about 3:00 pm on Cumberland Drive. He is reportedly in stable condition at hospital.
The attack was captured on video which has been circulating on social media.
