Garth Walker, Executive Chairman of Innovative Systems Limited, expressed his excitement for the tournament.
“I am excited and eager to see how the tournament will unfold. We have very strong contenders throughout the various categories, so it’s going to be a very competitive week. I expect the very best sportsmanship from the competitors for the entirety of the competition. I am truly looking forward to seeing who will come out victorious at the end on Saturday,” stated Walker.
At the end of the competition, the winner will walk away with $100,000, as well as other prizes and surprises. The tournament will feature competitors who played in the Davis Cup, as well as the number 1 ranked amateur player in Jamaica and the number 1 ranked player in the Men’s Class 2 category. With this impressive lineup of tennis greatness, the tournament is set to be very successful and entertaining.
Walker said organisers expected “nothing short” of “exceptional tennis”, adding “Big thank you to all the other sponsors who came on board to facilitate this tournament…”
