Business House Football returns on Saturday
The Kingston and St Andrew Business House Football Association’s (BHFA) 11-a-side competition returns from hiatus this Saturday.
The tournament, which was on break since the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, gets started at Winchester Park in Kingston with a dress parade at 1 pm, before two games.
The first game kicks off at 2 pm with Jamaica Fire Brigade taking on Metrodade, then Petrojam faces RJRGLEANER at 4 pm.
The competition has a two-zone league format comprising 13 teams in total.
The regular league season will see each team playing a round-robin format, with the top-two teams from each group going on to the semi-finals. This takes place on September 6, then the final kicks off on September 16.
There will also be a cup format where teams play each other in home and away legs. From there, the top-two teams will advance to the semi-finals which start on September 2, then the final on September 9.
BHFA organisers have promised “lots of excitement” for this season.
