Police conducting operation at Bayith Yahweh religious compound in St James

Triggered by concerns raised by the Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA), the police this morning launched an operation at the Bayith Yahweh religious compound in Paradise Gardens, St James.

Located on Albion Road, Bayith Yahweh has long been plagued by questions about its practices.

It describes itself as a religious group.

An OBSERVER ONLINE source stated that the operation is being led by the Centre for Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse.

The nature of the claims has not yet been revealed.
