Back with a bang after a three-year hiatus, the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (JCC) last Wednesday (May 31) took over the Grande Jamaica ballroom of the Jamaica Pegasus hotel in Kingston with its annual dinner and awards ceremony.
Held under the theme ‘Resilience a Key Benchmark of Success’, the event, in its 38th staging, was attended by a wide cadre of stakeholders in the business community. At the glitzy event held to recognise and celebrate excellence in business, a number of its ‘best of chamber awards’ were presented to large and small businesses in various categories across the areas of corporate leadership, product and service quality, human resource development, marketing innovation, corporate citizenship, and sustained growth. The winners in each category were chosen from a list of nominees revealed at a previous event held in April.
