Gas prices up $1.80, diesel down $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and a decrease in the price of diesel effective Thursday, June 1, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $1.80, 90-octane will be sold for $173.98 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $170.45 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $165.62 per litre after a decrease of $4.50 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $176.37 per litre down by $4.50.
Kerosene also decreased by $4.50 and will be sold for $176.47 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $59.35 per litre down by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $67.33 per litre after a decrease of $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
