A super busy Royal weekend
In attendance at the first garden party hosted by King Charles were philanthropists and co-principals of Jamaica Patty Co Andrew and Theresa Roberts, proudly repping as always for The Rock. Other members of the Royal Family on location included Queen Camilla and Edward and Sophie Wessex, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
Guests enjoyed tea, a selection of sandwiches, complete with Dundee cake and bakewell tarts. Ice cream was served after the formal tea.
The Robertses spotted Lionel Richie and family amongst many others.
Come Sunday all roads led to Windsor Castle for the first concert ever held on its historic grounds. In the Royal Box were King Charles and Queen Camilla; William and Catherine, the Prince and Princess of Wales; Edward and Sophie, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh; Prince and Princess Michael of Kent; Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips.
The concert was a hit and the light show spectacular with Windsor Castle as a projection screen. A drone show lit up the sky.
And in other news, on Thursday, May 11, 2023, Prime Minister Andrew Holness appointed Theresa Roberts an ambassador who will serve as special investment envoy in the area of Culture and Arts. Other newly appointed ambassadors include Adam Stewart, executive chairman of Sandals Resorts International; Amber Group CEO Dushyant Savadia; and the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech) chancellor Lloyd Carney.
