Hotel worker killed in Negril crash
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica – A hotel worker died as a result of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle collision along the Nonpareil main road in Negril, Westmoreland on Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Yanday Gayle, a bell man at Royalton Negril.
Gayle is from Handberry district, in Mandeville.
Reports from the Negril police are that about 3:00 am, Gayle was driving a Toyota Premio motorcar when upon reaching a section of the roadway, he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a tree.
The police were alerted and Gayle was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
