Celebrated globally as international cannabis day, today, April 20 (4/20) is a day for lovers of all things ganja.
The cannabis industry is still relatively new and chances are there’s a lot you may not know about the sector.
Medical cannabis advocate and past chairman of the Cannabis Licensing Authority, LeVaughn Flynn, has created a special 4/20 video feature that looks at the structure of the industry and the opportunities for Jamaica.
Here, in part 1, he speaks about the model for success of the industry, breaking it down to ‘The Root’, ‘The Stem’, ‘The Leaves’ and ‘The Flowers’.
In part 2, he explores where the opportunities for Jamaica are in the lucrative sector.
Finally, in part 3, Flynn discusses what the country needs to do to capitalize on these opportunities.
