Pepsi JA links 4 chefs for Carnival street food truck experience
Come Carnival Sunday Pepsi Cola Jamaica (PCJ) will hit the road to serve up street food with a flair beginning on the streets of Kingston, then Montego Bay, and Ocho Rios with a new food truck venture.
With a team of four talented chefs, the Pepsi Food Truck Pop-Up promises to treat taste buds to mouthfuls of epicurean and Jamaican bites perfected with a touch of culinary class designed to pair perfectly with the refreshing taste of Pepsi Cola.
The Pepsi Food Truck Tour kicks off with on Knutsford Boulevard with Chef Yassi Brissett (@theskinnychefyassi), who is known for his “leave the plate clean”, healthy, nutritious, and flavourful dishes.
Patrons can look forward to his glazed chicken wings with Pepsi-tamarind sauce, spicy slow-cooked beef tacos with pico de gallo and pineapple jerk salsa, and his Jamdung conch fritters.
The delicious journey continues on April 23 in Ocho Rios with Chef Liyah (@playtz.ja), May 12 in Papine with Chef Card (@chef.card), and May 28 in Montego Bay with Chef Andre (@andre.cooks).
PCJ Brand Coordinator Yanique Dawkins said patrons are in for a treat and are encouraged to try them all.

We are thrilled to introduce this unique culinary experience that continues to connect Pepsi-Cola to Jamaican food and culture,” she said. “It’s not about just joining a line and getting your food; instead, people can expect a truly immersive experience with Jamaican culture that brings people together through a shared love of good food and good vibes.”
Pepsi Cola Jamaica is the official beverage partner for the 2023 staging of Xodus and Yardmas Carnival and their lead-up events.
