#Champs2023: Calabar’s Shaquane Gordon wins second gold medal
KINGSTON, Jamaica- Calabar’s Shaquane Gordon won his second gold medal while St Jago High won two of the three boys sprint hurdles gold medals during the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships at the National Stadium.
Gordon who won the Class 2 100m on Wednesday, won the Class 2 110m hurdles with 13.42 second, followed by two Kingston College runners Kaheim Carby- 13.59 seconds and Daniel Clarke- 13.80 seconds.
Demario Prince won the Class 1 race with 13.42 seconds (-3.3m/s) with his team mate Andre Harris taking the silver medal with 13.79 seconds and Jamaica College’s Daniel Beckford was third with 13.83 seconds.
Marquies Page won the Class 3 100m gold medal with 13.38 seconds (-1.3m/s), beating Vere Technical’s Shawn Palmer- 13.40 seconds and St George’s College’s Jahzi Walters was third with 13.62 seconds.
