TC inks deal with Bashco – to become host of retailer’s infomercials
Social Media personality Keticia Chatman, better known by her stage name ‘TC,’ has signed a deal with local retail company Bashco.
The partnership will see TC serve as a co-host for the company’s popular infomercial broadcasts which will be relaunched on Bashco’s YouTube channel, following a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19.
Speaking about the deal, TC shared that she was elated to be working with Bashco, adding that it is a store that she frequently visits and patronizes.
“I am really happy and I am thankful for the opportunity especially because Bashco is one of my go to places for my household items,” TC told OBSERVER ONLINE.
“I plan to make it fun, exciting and as informative as is possible. We ago look on the things that can fix up wi house and make we life easier on a budget,” she added.
According to Bashco’s Marketing Officer, Tassia Bernard, the partnership between the company and TC is in keeping with the shifts in audience behavior and consumption patterns that have become evident since the pandemic.
“During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bashco cancelled its infomercial broadcasts. The decision was taken to relaunch the infomercial but using a social media platform, as our target market now resonates with YouTube. Based on this new trend we chose to include social media influencers. In line with this decision and after looking at several influencers we were of the belief that TC aligned with our brand,” explained Bernard.
“TC has a high energy level which we found very engaging. We believe she is the perfect fit based on personality and life goals. It is our hope that she will engage and resonate not only with our traditional viewers but with a new online demographic to highlight our extensive product line. This is a new beginning for both of us,” added Bernard.
