Have Strong Faith with Kevin Heath
Gospel artiste Kevin Heath remains undaunted in his ministry even with the rise in secular music.
“I stand out by staying true to who and what I believe by being real in the eyes of the people,” he told the Jamaica Observer.
Heath, who hails from St Elizabeth, released his latest track Strong Faith on March 17.
It was produced by Fitzroy “Dave Prime Time” Green.
The singer noted that the track was inspired by true events and he hopes that listeners will be encouraged.
“This song is based on life experiences that required me to have strong faith, enduring and overcoming the obstacles. It’s a message of encouragement to stay committed to God in challenging times,” the artiste explained.
Following a four-year hiatus, Minister Kevin Heath returned to the music scene with his 2022 single My Redeemer. His comeback was well received as the track reached on the GL365 Radio Reggae Gospel Top Ten chart.
Adding to his catalogue, his past releases include I’m Above, Can’t Stop Purpose, Watch The Finish and Cover Me featuring Jermaine Edwards.
Heath told the Observer he desires to team up with other established gospel acts.
“There are several ministers that I would love to collaborate [with] and will collaborate with in the right timing as God would have it. [They include] Papa San and DJ Nicholas, as I admire their worship style, and together we will make extraordinary music,” he added.
The singer plans to remain in the industry for the long haul thanks to the passion he has for his artistry.
“When you are doing something that you love it gives you so much joy that the time doesn’t matter. That’s how I feel about music, and I’m looking forward to the future,” he said.
