King’s House was in full swing Thursday last as resident and non-resident high commissioners and ambassadors to Jamaica, along with members of the Jamaican Senate and industry leaders, converged for the annual diplomatic corps dinner.

The annual dinner is a key element in Jamaica’s celebration of Diplomatic Week. In addition to the cocktail reception which preceded the dinner, courtesy of the Pegasus hotel, the ambassadors, high commissioners and their spouses were introduced to Governor General Patrick Allen, and other members of the greeting party in a brief call-up session.

Page 2 takes you inside the walls of King’s House to glimpse the evening’s happenings as the diplomats flocked to the wraparound verandah for the cocktail hour.
