Mechanic charged for robbing, killing businessman in Manchester

MANCHESTER, Jamaica – A mechanic has been charged with murder, robbery with aggravation and illegal possession of firearm following an incident at his business establishment in Porus, Manchester on December 9, 2022.

Charged is 22-year-old Ajay Frazer of Denbigh Crescent, Clarendon.

Frazer was charged with the murder of 39-year-old Jin Xian Ye, otherwise called ‘Leo’, a businessman of Porus in the parish.

Reports from the Manchester police are that about 7:30 pm, Frazer was with a group of men who robbed Xian Ye then opened gunfire, killing him.
