An award for exemplary achievement
THE Rotary Club of St Andrew hosted a luncheon at the Terra Nova Hotel on January 31 to recognise members of the wider community who have exemplified outstanding professional achievement while maintaining high ethical standards.
Here, Professor Sir Hilary Beckles (left), vice chancellor, The University of the West Indies, receives the citation for the Orville Walker Vocational Service Award 2022/23 from Nicole Gordon, president, Rotary Club of St Andrew, and Robert Drummond, director of vocational services. Professor Beckles was also guest speaker and addressed the audience on ‘The Philosophy of Public Service’.
