Entrepreneur and Miss Jamaica World pageant coach Jermain Dyer recently hosted an intimate black and white-themed soirée at Footprints Café Restaurant & Lounge to celebrate his 27th birthday.
The exclusive affair attracted beauty queens, including Toni-Ann Singh, Miss World 2019; and Davina Bennett, fashion model and Miss Universe 2017 second runner-up — who joined via an online streaming platform.
Dyer, who has been nominated for a Prime Minister’s Youth Award for excellence in the category of Social Entrepreneur, told Page 2, that “Growing up, my family wasn’t very big on birthday celebrations. The day was actually filled with a lot of disappointment. Over time I became accustomed to acknowledging the day as another normal day with no special significance. As I got older, I realised how much I’ve accomplished and how much I have to be grateful for, and this is my way of celebrating myself and becoming my biggest cheerleader.
“I’m honoured to have trained and supported the likes of Davina Bennett and Toni-Ann Singh, among so many other queens for brand Jamaica,” he said.
