Lannlord celebrates life on latest single
Coming out of a pandemic, recording artiste Lannlord wanted to offer some hope and inspiration to others. He came up with the idea for ‘Life Celebration’, his latest single which was released on December 12.
“The song has a nice feel good vibe, and it has a very uplifting message. As the title suggests, it is a celebration of life,” the deejay explained.
The New Jersey-based entertainer says he recorded the song to encourage people to forget about their troubles and celebrate life.
“We all know that there are a lot of negative things happening in the world, but we also need to focus on the positive things that are happening in the world. I want people to know that it’s better to be constantly in a state of gratitude instead of worrying about their troubles and being depressed all the time. Let’s forget about our troubles and celebrate life,” he reasoned.
Produced by ReggaeHopMusicGroup, it was mixed and mastered by engineer Caldhino.
Some of Lannlord’s other songs are ‘Put It On Me’ featuring Elephant Man and JR Pinchers, ‘Toxic Love’, and ‘Boomwhine’ featuring Glitchy Bandz.
‘Lannlord’, who lists Vybz Kartel, Beres Hammond, Sean Paul and Nikki Minaj among his musical influences, has had a lifelong affinity with music which began when he was student at Rock Hall All Age School in Jamaica.
In the early 1990s, Lannlord migrated from Jamaica to the US with his family, where he got exposed to Hip Hop culture while attending Plain Field High in New Jersey.
Just as he did when he was in Jamaica, he continued to write songs and performed at school events.
As his love for music grew even stronger and he gained more experience, Lannlord decided that he wanted to become a professional recording artiste.
He made his recording debut with a song titled ‘Like Dat’ in 2018.
Since then, he has recorded and released several thought provoking tracks that have caught the attention of music lovers in various parts of the world including Jamaica, the US, England, Europe and Africa.
