50-y-o St Catherine man charged with wife’s murder

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica— A 50-year-old man has been charged with murder after his wife succumbed to injuries she allegedly received from him.

Charged is Paul Walker, a construction worker of Caymanas Gardens in Portmore, St Catherine.

Reports from the police are that about 9:30pm on Sunday, November 6, Walker and his wife, 44-year-old Nicola Walker, were at home when an argument developed between them. It is alleged that Walker kicked and punched his wife all over her body causing swelling and bruises.

The police were summoned and on their arrival, Nicola was taken to the hospital where she later succumbed to injuries she received.

Walker was subsequently arrested and charged with murder.
