FosRich expanding services to meet demand in south-central region
MANDEVILLE, Manchester – Chief executive officer of FosRich Cecil Foster has said that the company is rapidly expanding its services in south-central Jamaica where there is a high demand for its products.
“We have been here [Mandeville] for about nine years now, we intend to be here for life. We have noticed that our PVC manufactured products are sold mostly in this region, so we have put in place a rejuvenated management team who will be in the community and interfacing with consumers and businesses,” he told the Jamaica Observer on Tuesday at FosRich Mandeville’s Christmas mingle.
FosRich has six retail outlets spread across the island. The company’s Mandeville location is centrally-based between Clarendon and St Elizabeth.
“We are expanding in this region, so our sales team is [growing] in this region and we are looking forward to serving this region with the best that we have in FosRich,” said Foster.
FosRich, a manufacturing and distribution entity, is listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
Foster said the company saw it fit to give back to its supporters in Mandeville at the Christmas mingle.
“FosRich has decided that the community of Mandeville and its surroundings mean a lot to us and we also think [because] we are in this space for nine years now and coming out of COVID and the challenges that the country and the parish has faced, we invited the service clubs and have a night of fellowship and mingle and we got the chance to interact with them to tell them about our business and to listen to them as to what they are feeling and what they want us to bring to the community,” he said.
“Therefore, that is why we have put this mingle on and we are very happy to see the turnout of various service clubs. For FosRich we are in it to serve people. We want to be where the people are, we want to listen to them. We want to do our best to help find solutions for their pain points,” he added.
President of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce Simone Spence-Johnson was among patrons at FosRich’s Christmas mingle.
“The event brought together some key stakeholders in the parish and to see that Jamaica has a company like FosRich doing so well. We really endorse it and we are glad that they have a home base in Manchester,” she said.
