Manifest a meaningful season
MANIFESTING has never been more popular — the wellness strategy to make your desires come to fruition by mentally visualising them may be one of the more positive things to come from the COVID-19 era. Nowadays everybody is making use of manifestation techniques, from binaural beats to increase creativity and cognitive enhancement, to self-help books and vision-boarding. Manifesting posits that positive things will happen to you if only you think enough positive thoughts.
Manifesting requires you to take proactive steps toward whatever it is you desire, and here, six days to Christmas, we share six steps for making this season meaningful.
Day 1: Make it a season of goodness
Don’t focus on the negatives, look forward to what is before you. Engage in mindful giving, and give to those who need it most. Why not give love this Christmas and help your friends and family manifest goodness into their lives as well?
Day 2: Write down what you want
When Christians fast they write down what they want to achieve at the end of the fast and repeat them each day. This is a form of manifesting — belief that the universe will deliver on what is asked for. On social media the 369 method is popular — you write down what you want three times in the morning, six times in the afternoon, and nine times at night for a set number of days, a kind of letter to the universe.
Day 3: Work towards your goals
If your goal is to migrate, study abroad, be in a relationship, save money, have children in the next year, now is the time to start working towards them. No need to start in the new year; make adjustments now. Avoid the need to overspend this season, especially on wants and not needs. Keep a laser focus on your goals, and don’t be distracted.
Day 4: Be thankful
Americans reserve a day each year to be thankful, and it’s something we should perhaps adopt as we strive to be better people. Be thankful today and not hasty or ill-tempered. Look at all the things that have worked out for you this year that you should be appreciative for, and thank the relevant person who made them all possible.
Day 5: Don’t limit yourself
The world is your oyster, and the sooner you get in that mode of thinking, the better. Today, change your mindset and remove any self-limiting blockages that incite fear and negativity. You are worthy, you are smart, you are good, and you deserve good. Repeat these thoughts until you believe them.
Day 6: Be determined to be joyful
Despite all the bad that is around us, there is also so much good, and so much to be joyful for. Whether it’s your children, family, pets, nature, the fact that you’re alive, healthy, blessed, find the time to be happy, and be determined to keep this mindset. When you’re joyful there’s not much that can faze you, and you’ll be equipped to take on anything that comes your way.
