Christmas lights weren’t the only things glowing last Thursday as the final full moon of 2022 lit up the night sky. To celebrate the lunar event, the ROK Hotel Kingston fêted stargazers with Full Moon — an all-white soca party, at the hotel’s très chic poolside deck.
Guests revelled to the beats from DJs Kurt Riley and Kevy while sipping on the event’s signature cocktail: Teremana Paloma. And, as soca lovers got their fair share of ‘wuk up’ tunes, the team sweetened the deal by also spinning the hottest Afrobeats and throwback dancehall songs.
With the first staging a success, Director of Sales and Marketing Marlene Buckridge advised that the event will return for the first full moon of 2023. “We wanted to activate the space… there’s always an appetite for new, trendy and interesting. Hence this! New, fresh, and spicy and whenever there’s a fulll moon,” she said.
