What do you expect from the England vs France match-up?
Andrew Price (football coach and analyst)
It is going to be exciting; the matchups are going to be intriguing. Mbappe against Walker: Can Walker cope against Mbappe’s speed and guile? Giroud versus Maguire: Maguire has not put a foot wrong all tournament but he comes up against a true number 9 for the first time — and France’s all-time leading-scorer Giroud can be a handful. Bellingham and Rabiot will be another great individual battle. Two potent attacking teams, how well will each defensive unit stand up to the pressure? However, the X-factor is Mbappe. France to win in possibly a high-scoring game.
Warren Barrett (former Reggae Boyz goalkeper)
This will be a very tight and interesting game. It might not turn out to be the classic that fans are talking about because there is so much at stake. Both teams know each other well. They are two well-balanced teams with few glaring weaknesses. Both are strong offensively and defensively as well so it will come down to moments and who ceases those opportunities. Don’t be surprised if this one goes to extra time.

This is a mouth-watering matchup where both teams are similar, so it may come down to what tactics Deschamps or Southgate can pull from their hat. Goals are expected from both ends of the pitch. Southgate has plenty of attacking options at his disposal and it’s difficult to contain Mbappe and Giroud, who France will rely on heavily for the fireworks. I give the nod to France on experience.
Trishana McGowan (CVM TV World Cup host)
I think it will be nail-biting. France should come out winners, but not without a fight from the 2018 semi-finalists.
