The German youngster Jamal Musiala has impressed me.

I think England’s Jude Bellingham and Cody Gakpo of the Netherlands. Their results are showing, how they’re playing is also showing, and I’m just excited to see what more is to come from them in January — which clubs they will go to and how much more they will contribute to their careers.

Cody Gakpo. As a Manchester United supporter I’m hoping he makes his way to Old Trafford. Hard to believe he only debuted for the Netherlands last year and has already surpassed his predecessors as the first Dutch player to score in his frist three World Cup matches. I also like that Louis van Gaal refers to him as “coachable”, and it’s more impressive that his goals are coming from the wing.
