Vows: Together Forever
“It’s three months since we wed,” shares JMMB Money Transfer Ltd Client Service Officer Sandy Mullings with Tuesday Style Vows (TSV). Her smile widens as she takes us back to August 22, when Tax Administration Jamaica Collections Officer Lorenzo Jackson slipped the ring on her finger. The intimate ceremony took place at the Antioch Assembly Of God church and was officiated by Bishop Paul Nelson.
“We grew up together and really enjoyed each other’s company. In fact, our parents were very good friends,” she added.
Few were surprised when the two started dating and Lorenzo proposed.
Now back to their special day.
With official photos taken at the Hope Botanical Gardens, the newly-weds headed to their intimate reception at Fran’s Wedding Centre.
The intimate gathering was filled with happiness and laughter. Master of ceremonies Anthony Gibbs kept the guests engaged with a suite of fun-filled games prior to the blessing of dinner, courtesy of Prophet Camile Taffe. This was followed by the cutting of the Janelle Stewart vanilla and strawberry wedding cake, speeches and the newly-weds’ first dance as husband and wife to Charlie Wilson’s You Are.
The newly-weds and their guests then partied to the tunes of DJ Screechy.
A honeymoon will follow at a later date.
