MAXBROWN’s holiday picks
There’s a reason MAXBROWN International is a go-to for celebrities’ red-carpet events and special occasions: nobody else makes classic cuts look and feel so cinematic.
With more than three decades in the business Sophia Max-Brown remains the authority in luxury menswear. Her command of all the facets was evident in the label’s presentation at the La Hot Couture fashion show on Saturday, November 12.
Out came a collection that emphasised MAXBROWN International’s flashy and fun side: pastel and burgundy suits, and a selection of plaids and chequered prints.
Easily the most star-studded of the La Hot Couture collections, MAXBROWN’s roll-out had appearances from Saint International star Val Haughton, who has fronted campaigns for Wales Bonner and walked for Balenciaga, and businessman-cum-model Zachary Harding.
Managing Director Sophia Max-Brown said: “The collection showcased was a bit of Holiday 2022 and Cruisewear 2023. Hunter, emerald, and forest green are the season’s hottest colours. Burgundy is always a good choice for the festive season and all year round. Windowpane and plaids have been trending all year and into 2023, also bold colours such as bright yellow; fuchsia, turquoise, orange, and purple are also very strong choices for suits and jackets. It was an honour to be part of La Hot Couture Fashion Show. The feedback has been amazing. The Saint models were great as always and our guest model, Zachary Harding, looked dapper to the max!”
As we approach a busy Christmas calender, Tuesday Style Fashion (TSF) highlights a few runway standouts that deserve a spot in your wardrobe this season.
