Harbour View take Premier League lead
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Defending champions Harbour View came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw against Mount Pleasant FA in a rescheduled match at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex on Thursday and took over the lead in the Jamaica Premier League.
The point saw Harbour View move to the top of the table on goal-difference ahead of Arnett Gardens who drew 1-1 with Portmore United and Montego Bay United, all on seven points.
Both Harbour View and Arnett Gardens, as well as Mt Pleasant FA, were dropping points for the first time this season.
Sue-lae McCalla gave Mt Pleasant the lead in the eighth minute but Colorado Murray drew Harbour View level with a goal in the 74th minute.
In the second game, Demari Deacon scored in the 54th minute to give Arnett Gardens the lead but Tevin Scott equalised for Portmore United in the 60th minute.
