Get GROOMED
It’s been a long time coming, but just in case you were not paying attention, men’s grooming is now big business!
That’s right, men’s grooming routines have developed far beyond the ubiquitous quick shave. Today’s men are all about looking and feeling good.
And quick-to-trend natural hair and skincare retailer HoneyVera has taken notice. The brand’s CEO Christal-Ann Thompson has been making products since 2014, but says it was only a year ago that she responded to these trends by creating dedicated products for men’s grooming. “We would go to pop-up events and men would ask ‘so what’s here for us?'” It was this insight that made me think that men care about their hair and skin, too, and from this the line was born. I did a lot of research and came up with the name ‘GROOMED’,” shared Thompson. “I spent a week developing the formulation and designing the label. I worked on different designs for packaging then decided a box would have that sleek look I was searching for, so I designed it and made it a reality.”
The kit contains a Body Wash & Shampoo, Face Wash, Hair Regrowth Oil, Razor Bump Treatment, Beard & Face Cream, and is a great way to build a skincare regimen, or pare down an existing one. Here’s how:
Step 1: Cleanse Create a rich lather with the Body Wash & Shampoo and cleanse skin and hair. The 2-in-1 wash promotes hair growth, relieves itching, removes and prevents dandruff, while simultaneously enriching the body with vitamin E for fresh and healthy skin.
Step 2: Love is in the hair Apply Hair Regrowth Oil to scalp to prevent hair thinning, to thicken hair strands.
Step 3: Bump relief Treat razor bumps with the Razor Bump Treatment. Formulated with natural ingredients, it soothes while healing irritated skin and reducing dark spots.
Step 4: Fly, never dry Complete your regi-MEN with the Beard & Face Cream. Packed with vitamins, hyaluronic acid, and minerals, this cream moisturises the beard and face, treats rashes and acne for healthier skin and promises to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This bad boy also contains grapeseed oil which gives it a high vitamin E and omega-6 fatty acid content.
