Rushane Patterson arrested in Hanover
Rushane Patterson, the individual named as a person of interest in the death of social media influencer Aneka ‘Slickianna’ Townsend, was captured by lawmen in Hanover early Wednesday morning
Patterson, otherwise called ‘Chizzie’ was arrested by the police at a guest house in the parish shortly after 1 am.
Patterson was named as a person of interest in Townsend’s death on October 22. He was reportedly supposed to turn himself in to the police last Tuesday. That, however, did not materialise.

Townsend’s body was fished from the sea in Reading, St James on October 21.

On Tuesday, during a press briefing, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fitz Bailey, indicated that Patterson was expected to make himself available to the police on Thursday.
According to DCP Bailey, contrary to reports, there is nothing to indicate that Patterson has fled the country and says an attorney representing Patterson has indicated he will turn himself in.
