WhatsApp users to message themselves

The social media space is keeping eyes on the latest from WhatsApp, which is rolling out a “Message Yourself” feature to a small group of beta iOS and Android testers. Before this feature, WhatsApp users had to search for their numbers to send themselves a message. As WABetaInfo reports, a future version of the Android app will make it possible to chat with your phone number from your contacts list.

WhatsApp is also ending the ability to send and open “view once” messages on the desktop so users will be prevented from taking a photo of a “view once” message sent to their desktop.
