In case you missed the buzz that unfolded on social media last Tuesday, we’re here to inform that class was in session and all eyes were on Jamaica Observer Senior Associate Editor – Lifestyle & Social Content Novia McDonald-Whyte aka Herself.
The AC Hotel’s Innovation Gallery was the venue for The Lab Jamaica-produced Herself Masterclass: a six-part video series that delivers a practical understanding of success, anchored in the singular experience and personality of ‘Herself’.
Guests took their seats in the Shikima Hinds/Tai-Flora luxe-curated space for Module 6: Her Table, a dinner party with nine women openly sharing about life’s experiences in- between forkfuls from a four-course affair presented by Oji Jaja for Ashebre.
“Every single person here this evening has poured into me,” said the lady of the hour as she detailed how the masterclass came to fruition, while showing her appreciation to all who helped make it happen. “Usually it’s about [spotlighting] other people, so it’s really difficult to do me, but eventually somebody got it [right]… Thanks to my team at the Jamaica Observer. Thanks to my beloved [former] chairman, the late Gordon “Butch” Stewart… this journey would be absolutely impossible without my right wing, and that’s Natalie Chin,” continued McDonald-Whyte as guests erupted in applause.
The Herself Masterclass is powered by: NCB Capital Markets Limited, Tastee, Sagicor, ARC Manufacturing, The Lab, The Jamaica Observer, Digicel, The Best Dressed Chicken, Joseph’s and the AC Hotel.
