The Republicans will win the Senate
Dear Editor,
I’ve heard some pollsters and political analysts (mainly on the left) doubting the Republican Party’s chance to win the Senate.
I see the Republicans winning 51-53 seats. The six most competitive Senate seats are Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and New Hampshire. Four of those seats are currently held by Democrats and two by Republicans. I don’t see incumbent Ron Johnson losing Wisconsin. I also see Dr Mehmet Oz holding on to Pennsylvania. So, basically, the Republicans will hold all seats up for re-election, meaning, they will retain 50 seats .
I see Adam Laxalt winning Nevada. Blake Masters can defeat Mark Kelly in Arizona. Don Bolduc the Republican Senate nominee in New Hampshire can win depending on the Republican swing. The race with Herschel Walker and incumbent Raphael Warnock is likely to go to the second round because I don’t see any of the candidates, for now, getting more than 50 per cent. If a candidate is going to win the first round, my bet is on Governor Brian Kemp to bring Herschel Walker over the line .
The Republicans will not win Washington state or Colorado. The Democrats will not defeat Marco Rubio in Florida, Ted Budd in North Carolina, or JD Vance in Ohio.
Some of these biased political analysts and pollsters need to be realistic.
