Gas prices up $0.25, diesel down $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and a decrease in the price of diesel effective Thursday, September 22, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $0.25, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $197.66 per litre while 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $201.64 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $224.76 per litre after a decrease of $4.50, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $231.75 per litre also down by $4.50.
Kerosene decreased in price by $4.50 and will be sold for $210.37 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $65.18 per litre down by $0.93 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $71.96 per litre after a decrease of $1.17.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
