Paul Bogle hunt fourth win today
Paul Bogle High could make it four wins in a row today when they take on Morant Bay High in a Zone L game as the ISSA/WATA daCosta Cup football competition continues with four games.
There will be three games in Zone L while a rescheduled Zone E game between Sydney Pagon STEM and BB Coke High that was not played on Saturday will be played starting at 1:30 pm.
In the other games, Yallahs High will host St Thomas Technical and Seaforth High takes on winless Robert Lightbourne High.
Paul Bogle High will bring an 11-game unbeaten run into today’s game against Morant Bay High, who started the season with a win but have drawn and lost the next two games.
Morant Bay High, whose last win over Paul Bogle came in the 2014 season, gave up a 3-0 lead and drew 3-3 with Seaforth then lost 3-0 to Yallahs High on Friday.
Paul Bogle, meanwhile, has scored three goals in each game, with Malleak McFarlane scoring a double in their 3-1 win over Seaforth on Friday.
After losing their opening game, Yallahs High have won the next two by an 8-0 aggregate and will start favourites to get full points from St Thomas Tech today after winning just one of their last seven matchup and losing their last four.
Seaforth High will seek to stay in contention for a second-round spot when they face Robert Lightbourne High, who have been outscored 12-1 in their three games played so far.
In the Zone E game, both teams will be going after their first win and first goal of the season. BB Coke, the former Ben Francis Cup winners, have one point to show from their two games played while Sydney Pagon have conceded five goals.
