Police sergeant dies after stabbing in Portmore
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – A policeman, who was stabbed after intervening in a dispute on Saturday, has died.
The deceased has been identified as Detective Sergeant Victor Francis of the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA).
Francis was reportedly stabbed when he attempted to part a fight between relatives in Portmore, St Catherine.

He was rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
OBSERVER ONLINE understands that another man was also stabbed in the incident and has been hospitalised.
