‘Pan Di Plaza’ delivers again
EYE-CATCHING outfits, creative dance moves and nostalgic dancehall music were the highlights of ‘Pan Di Plaza’ held at the National Stadium car park in St Andrew on Saturday, August 20.
If crowd turnout and the party vibe were anything to go by, the summer edition of Pan Di Plaza topped the event’s grand 2022 return hosted back in April.
Some of Jamaica’s most sought-after sound selectors such as Shukkle Bus, Chromatic Live, Kryptic and Coppershot Music delivered hit after hit to keep the Guinness-sponsored party pulsing all night.
“The event was everything I was looking forward to. It’s hard to choose my favourite part of the night but it’s definitely between the music selection and the decor, especially the entrance area. Between the Guinness crates, the handcart, and the graffiti wall, it all worked together to deliver a real dancehall vibe. The event was definitely well executed, and I cannot wait to attend the next staging,” shared patron Neah Aris.
Ben Sinclair, Guinness junior brand manager, gave the event the thumbs up.
“Pan Di Plaza has done an excellent job at promoting everything dancehall and keeping the culture alive so partnering with them continues to be a win-win for us, the organisers, and especially the fans,” said Sinclair.
“Celebrating the dancehall culture is at the forefront of many of our executions. We will certainly continue to support this aspect of Brand Jamaica for the foreseeable future,” he declared.
