WATCH: Scores turn out for funeral of ‘Pancho’ Francis in Mandeville
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — Scores of mourners, many of them clad in Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) green, are now gathered at the Northern Caribbean University in Mandeville for the funeral of JLP Councillor Cleon “Pancho” Francis.
Francis, who died at age 52 on July 8 after being hospitalised for close to a month, served as councillor for the Knockpatrick Division.
Among those expected in attendance at the funeral are JLP leader and Prime Minister Andrew Holness, and Deputy Prime Minister and JLP General Secretary Dr Horace Chang.
