Raheem Sterling pays homage to Jamaica with new Clarks Originals designs
England and Chelsea football star Raheem Sterling has unveiled three new designs of his Clarks Original footwear collection in collaboration with the British shoes maker.
The new designs come in hues of navy, white, ecru and darker shades of grey, and pays homage to Sterling’s Jamaican heritage with its utilitarian-inspired aesthetic, the brand said.
The new Clarks Original designs are also in sync with the footballer’s clothing line, Sixteen Ninety Two, which made its debut during London Fashion Week in 2021.
Clarks and Sterling established the partnership in 2020.
While Sterling’s previous collaborations have been centered on one shoe, this new line is the first to present three new shoes, all surrounding the Clarks Originals Wallabee, and the wider clothing line from the former Manchester City star’s collection.
