Farm worker dies in US crash
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — A Jamaican farm worker has died from injuries sustained during a crash while working in the United States.
Dopson Wynter, from Pennington District in Lluidas Vale, St Catherine died on Saturday. He was among a group of workers who departed Jamaica less than a week ago.
According to OBSERVER ONLINE sources, another driver slammed into a car Wynter was driving while on the job, killing him on the spot.
Relatives who described Wynter as a “passionate family man” have asked for privacy as they mourn his death.
The crash that claimed Dopson’s life came a day before two brothers from Clarendon got into trouble after jumping, around 11:00 pm Sunday, from the infamous Jaws Bridge that connects Edgartown to Oak Bluffs in Massachusetts.
The body of Tavaris Bulgin, 26, was recovered around 6:30 Monday morning. The search continued Tuesday for his 21-year-old brother, Tavaughn Bulgin who is presumed dead.
