Omar’s Kitchen & Rum Bar, a Jamaican restaurant located in the heart of the Lower East Side, New York — where the style set convenes for great food, hip sips, and the perfect vibe — was where Rock-blooded fashion designer Samantha Black aka Sammy B launched her Summer Soirée dinner series, powered by Appleton Estate Jamaica.

The event held Wednesday last was one for the books. In between shots of Appleton and toasts, the designer announced the availability of her second collection at luxury department store chain Nordstrom and also shared, “We are so excited about this amazing partnership with such an iconic brand.

The dinner series which will include a menu by Chef Omar Walters, leads up to our NYFW runway show, and is where fashion editors, stylists and influencers will be reintroduced to the brand. What better way than in an intimate setting to reintroduce ourselves and share our brand story and ultimately enjoy the positive vibes and freedom that summer affords?”
