Eye of the Storm

Carnival GLAMHub Director Gabrielle Waite and her team of over 20 make-up artists are responsible for some of the most gorgeous make-up looks seen at Sunday’s Carnival road march. And while the expert use of colour was top-notch, Waite found a more unique way to make her clients shine: gold flakes. The technique was used on Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards judge, architect and soca queen Mala Morrison to create a rose-gold foiled eye that was the perfect complement to her Xodus Storm costume.
