New look Gmail
Gmail has a fresh look to match the company’s new Material You design language. Click the Settings gear button and select ‘Try out the new Gmail view.’ The fundamental change is a new navigation bar left of the primary sidebar, with quick-access buttons for Google Chat, Google Spaces, and Google Meet.
If you are unhappy with the new look, you can switch to the old layout by clicking the Settings gear button at the top-right and selecting “Go back to the original Gmail view”.
