To discover the most colourful and relaxed fashion of the season, the mag went to an urban and ecological garden on the outskirts of Madrid in search of refreshing tones and patterns. Governor General Sir Patrick Allen and Lady Allen participated in Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations held recently in London, England, on behalf of Jamaica. While in London, they attended the Jubilee Service in St Paul’s Cathedral and The Platinum Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace.
The hard-working duo who arrived in the United Kingdom mere hours before participating in the slate of activities also found time to attend services led by Richard Daley, pastor of the Brixton Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Dr Elaine Grant-Bryan, a Jamaican-born, multi-award-winning educator living in Atlanta, Georgia, has scored yet another prestigious award. This time it’s the President’s Lifetime Achievement award in recognition of Grant-Bryan’s 4,000 hours of service to the United States. The commendation is, per the citation, “The highest honour from United States President Joe Biden for both the Gold and the Lifetime Achievement Award 2022…
