Herbert Morrison, York Castle eye maiden U-15 basketball win
Herbert Morrison Technical and York Castle will seek their first win in the Inter-secondary Schools Sports Association/Western Conference Under-15 boys’ basketball competition today when they meet in a first-round game in Brown’s Town, St Ann.
Herbert Morrison lost their only game so far, to leaders Cornwall College, while York Castle has lost both games, to Cornwall College and Holland High.
The Montego Bay-based school is expected to win today, however, to join Holland High in second place on three points. Cornwall College are on six points from their three wins so far.
Just two teams will advance past the first round, to the final. The finalists also qualify for the national play-offs.
