UPDATE: No breakthrough in guesthouse operator’s killing — cops
ST ANN, Jamaica — The police say they have not yet established a motive or identified any suspect in connection with last week’s killing of a guesthouse operator in St Ann.
Patrick Lawrence, a 76-year-old businessman from Top Road in St Ann’s Bay, was found dead at his establishment. Lawrence lived at the premises.
Contacted on Wednesday, the police said despite an intense probe, they have not been able to make any breakthrough. The police said the investigations are, however, continuing.
It was reported that Lawrence was last seen about 10:00 pm. About 6:30 the next morning, a customer went to rent a room at the guesthouse.
